Mark your calendar for January 24 to
January 31, 2009 and plan now to join the Pine Tree Ski Club in
magnificent Vail, Colorado.
Thanks to the BEST snow conditions we've EVER had and a fantastic group of people, Pine Tree's
trip last year was truly amazing. We enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting
new ones. Let's see if we can make this year's trip even better!

construction last year. There’s even a rumor of a new place to dance the

FOR??? Vail just keeps getting better and so does our group. I’ve been
told we’re the friendliest bunch in the world!

We welcomed some new members last year: Gail & Jerry, Tom, Murray, Kurt, Debbie & Keith (now Mr. & Mrs.!). Those of you we haven’t seen in a while - COME ON BACK!!! WE MISS Y’ALL!!

Details, details ....
Our home away from home this year bill be the
Evergreen Lodge. It’s conveniently located within walking distance
of everything. Amenities include a heated pool, GIANT indoor hot tub,
sauna, ski storage, on-site restaurant and the Altitude Club (premier
sports bar with 14 big screen TV’s, pool tables, etc.).
Some cities offer direct flights into Vail/Eagle
which is only a short distance to Vail Village by shuttle. Or, you can
fly into Denver and catch a shuttle. We have a special discount
shuttle rate through Colorado Mountain Express. Either way, our trip
starts at Evergreen Lodge, so it’s up to you to get there! Flights
fill up fast, so the sooner you make your reservations, the better.
We will have a welcoming party on
Sunday. Our special club dinner/banquet during the week is
always the highlight of the week with everyone participating, so get
your jokes ready (props are a plus!)!
Due to even stricter room reservation policies than
we’ve enjoyed in the past, I’ve booked a VERY limited number of rooms.
Basically, once I’ve booked them, I can’t drop rooms we don’t need
without penalty. For that reason, please let me know ASAP if you plan on
making the trip. I encourage you to get your reservation and deposit
sent to me quickly. Your reservation will not be confirmed until I
receive your deposit!

The assessment of $90 per person is to
cover the welcoming party, the mid-week dinner/banquet and incidentals
associated with putting the trip together (postage, telephone expenses,
etc.).
* Please note, if there will be more than the
specified number of people in the room/condo, you must add $90 per extra
person for the assessment.

If you can't make the trip this year but do want to stay on (or be added
to) our mailing list, let us know by completing and submitting the
registration form.
If you have other friends who may be interested in
joining the Pine Tree Ski Club for this year's bash, please feel free to
